Sax Synergy
Conn-Selmer and Selmer Paris have collaborated to produce model 32 and model 42 (pictured) saxophones. Model 32 combines the affordability of Selmer intermediate saxophones with a Selmer Paris professional neck and mouthpiece. Model 42 shares many of the same features plus a new fleur-de-lis engraving pattern, an upgraded Trek Bam Case and the option of regular lacquer or black lacquer. The 42 also features ribbed construction, blue steel springs and an enhanced acoustic design that gives the low register a more balanced intonation. Alto models are available now, and tenors will be out later this year.

Pitch Perfect
Korg’s Headtune is an easy-to-use clip-on tuner that’s shaped like the headstock of an acoustic guitar (pictured), electric guitar, bass or ukulele, depending on the model. Featuring LED indicators and a wide viewing angle for excellent visibility, Headtune has a compact, lightweight body that fits into the pocket of a guitar case for easy transport. An automatic power-off feature extends battery life.

A Full 360
Aviom’s A360 personal mixer features an advanced 36-channel mix engine that can be used to mix up to 17 mono or stereo channels plus mono or stereo ambience. For each of the A360’s standard mix channels, users can adjust volume, tone and reverb. The A360 also includes a stereo placement pan-spread control that lets the width of a stereo channel’s image be controlled independently of its left-right placement in the stereo field.
